Wibu-Systems Ltd joins software industry organisation FAST |
Wibu-Systems Ltd, which provides protection for software, documents, video and audio media against unauthorised copying and tampering, access protection for PCs and web authentication, has become the latest member of the Federation Against Software Theft (FAST), who represents the UK software industry. Wibu-Systems is joining FAST to support its campaign against the illegal use of software in UK-based organisations. In joining, Wibu-Systems is demonstrating its commitment to the drive against software piracy. John Lovelock, Chief Executive of FAST IiS (FAST and Investors in Software), said: "FAST represents the software industry, all of whom in one way or another are touched by the issues of intellectual property theft and piracy. Wibu-Systems joins a prestigious list of FAST members who rely on FAST to fight software piracy. Our growing membership is further endorsement that FAST's experience and knowledge in all matters pertaining to the legal use of software and copyright infringements is increasingly valuable to the industry as a whole.; ;FAST has an excellent reputation for educating the market around Software License Management (SLM) and Software Asset Management (SAM) issues.
