Full commitment 'necessary' for outsourcing investment |

If a company is not fully committed to an outsourcing deal from top to bottom, it will not be successful, a recent report has claimed. Customer relationship management (CRM) is particularly dependent on this dedication, where smooth implementation throughout the early stages is necessary to establish solid foundations, according to Donna Mitchell of Financial Planning. She highlighted the results of a recent report by Schwab which explained that CRM needs to offer all employees day-to-day work routine benefits. The report stated: "Ease of use should drive the entire CRM implementation process: from initial rollout, to integration with other programs, to process automation, to training and executive sponsorship." Without this, she explained that people will not want to use it or not take it seriously, thus undermining the direction which the company wants to take. One organisation which sees the importance of CRM as part of their IT governance is the Football League, which is in the process of appointing partners to help with its consumer-centric effort. |
